requirements
- ms visual basic 6.0 sp5 for the code

installing
uncompress icontest-stp.zip into a temp folder of your hard disk, then run setup

uninstalling
run the usual uninstall from windows control panel / add remove program.

use
if a folder selected in the leftside treeview contains any icons, these should be loaded in the toolbar.
please note:
- 255 icons can be loaded. if the folder contains more icons, a msgbox will appear.
- loading many icons might nuke system resources. 255 icons on a 128m ram system can take as much as 50-60% or more resources. so keep care running other programs at the same time.
- icontest should not recognize (in case, a msgbox should appear) icons that windows itself doesnt recognize, that is, those which in explorer usually show the windows logo instead of their own image.
- checking "flat toolbar" and reloading should give a 'coolbar' effect. if you've many icons, to set the toolbar correctly you'll have to resize the window a little bit. to gain the normal toolbar look again, you must close and restart the program.

source code
icontest-vbp.zip also contains the complete vb5sp3 project.
